To positively influence Maltese and international society into being more compassionate towards the animal creation and more aware of the inter-relatedness of all creatures under God.  To research and disseminate authentic teachings of the Catholic tradition and other religions to help bring about a way of life in according to the Creator's design.  To support and encourage initiatives by others with similar aims.

To oppose all forms of animal cruelty, and where possible, to provide alternatives.  To encourage and promote cruelty-free lifestyles and products such as vegetarianism, products not tested on animals, animal-free sports, humane treatment of all animals, environment-friendly products, etc.

To discuss animal cruelty issues with the Catholic church authorities and share ideas for a more proactive clergy in the animal welfare field.

Whenever possible, to provide assistance to sick, injured and abandoned animals, including homing, veterinary care, feeding, etc.

To be informed about animal issues and share the information with the public through the media, be it television, radio, newspapers, and the internet.

To campaign extensively, either as an individual society or in partnership with other like societies for animal rights legislation and humane treatment of animals, and to end all forms of animal exploitation.
